Eric S. Shiller, Esq. has more
than 20 years of litigation experience successfully
representing over 20,000 clients to date. An excellent
and zealous trial attorney, Mr. Shiller is seen
daily in the New York State courts fighting for
his clients' rights.
Mr. Shiller is licensed to practice law in the
State of New York and the State of Connecticut.
Mr. Shiller graduated from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in 1995, and from Hofstra University School of
Law with a Juris Doctor Degree in 2000. At Hofstra,
Mr. Shiller was a Criminal Courts Bar Association
of Nassau County Leon Stern Award Finalist. He
was also selected to participate in the National
Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Intensive
Trial Advocacy Program which is the nation’s
leading provider of legal advocacy skills training.
Prior to entering into private practice, Mr.
Shiller was employed as a trial attorney with
The Legal Aid Society of Orange County, Inc. practicing
primarily in the fields of criminal defense law
and family law.
Mr. Shiller is a member of the New York State
Bar Association (NYSBA) as well as a member of
its Criminal Justice Section. He is also a member
of the Orange County Bar Association, Dutchess
County Bar Association, Putnam Bar Association,
Ulster County Bar Association, the New York State
Defenders Association (NYSDA), and the New York
State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
(NYSACDL).
